There isnt a lot of justice in the world in fact theres close to none many people are shot and killed everyday and the murderers walk free like they never took a precious life. This is main reason why i want to be a lawyer. I want to bring justice to this cruel and dark world we live in. Im going to talk a little about the lives a lawyer lives.
Lawyers have been around for as long as the judicial court has been established which has been a very long time. In fact studies have shown that the earliest lawyers were around about two million years ago. They werent professional suit and tie guys as we see today but they did help decide the fate of the select individuals in a court or feild of law. A very famous Lawyer who was alive in the 1900s was Floyd B Mckissick. He was born in 1922 and died in 1991. He was the first black student to receive a law degree.He was in the same feild i would like to study in racial equality.
Lawyers need a Juris Doctor degree to practice law. This takes seven years to earn thats a lot of school. Your major would have to be law and you have to have four years of undergraduate coursework and three years of law school. That means if i were to be a lawyer i need to change my major to law. Mizzou one of the colleges i plan to go to has a great law school. I would have to take school very serious study hard and get good grades to earn this job.
Everyday at work if I am put on the case i would be working to prove to the jury if my client is innocent or the defendant is guilty. As a lawyer its my job to make sure the innocent walk and the guilty get put where they belong which is behind bars. Im not going to be a corrupted Lawyer who is easily persuaded by money thats not my style. An average lawyer earns $55,170-114,300 as a salary.
Nothing in this world goes with out challenges and a lawyer is one of them. Persuading a group of people is not an easy feat. Especially if they have hate or a certain way of mind burned into their heart and brains. Being a great lawyer is being able to show the jury the innocence of the innocent and the wrong of the guilty. The positive perks of being a lawyer is making the world a better place one person at a time.Being a lawyer helps remove some of the ignorant evil and twisted people that plague the streets. I feel it will help make the streets and cities a better place. Itll take a while because most idiots still run around free on the streets but it will keep murderers and sex offenders off the streets.
This career is important to our society because without a law and a persecution.The evil people that plague the streets would be even more numerous there would be even more senceless murders and even more rapes, and the worst thing of all they would all walk free. This career would be a good one for me cause when im trying to prove a point I use all evidence i have in my inventory. I argue with facts to prove my point and im hardly ever wrong.So i know this job is for me cause im a big stickler on justice.
